Dr. Nahal

Veterinarian

Dr. Nahal has nurtured a lifelong interest in animal well-being. Since graduating from veterinary school in 2012, he has dedicated his career to supporting the health and comfort of pets through thoughtful, compassionate care. His professional interests include preventive health, internal medicine, dentistry, and soft-tissue procedures. Dr. Nahal values open communication and takes time to discuss each pet’s condition and available care options so that families can make well-informed decisions. Outside the hospital, he enjoys exploring local trails with his rescue dog, playing basketball, and reading.

Dr. Brar

Veterinarian

For Dr. Brar, veterinary medicine has always been a meaningful way to strengthen the bond between animals and people. Since completing his veterinary degree in 2009, he has focused on providing attentive, individualized care for every patient and family. His areas of interest include senior pet health, dentistry, and pain management. Dr. Brar believes that collaboration and clear communication help create a comfortable experience for both pets and their caregivers. Beyond work, he enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time with his family and rescue cat.

Dr. Chahal

Veterinarian

Dr. Chahal’s connection with animals began early in life after rescuing his first stray kitten at the age of five. He earned his veterinary degree in India in 2011 and continues to approach every patient with patience and empathy. He enjoys all aspects of clinical medicine and focuses on creating a calm, reassuring environment during each visit. Dr. Chahal values ongoing learning and stays engaged with developments in veterinary practice to enhance his work with patients and families. When away from the hospital, he enjoys playing golf and following his favorite sports teams.

Chloe

Veterinary Assistant

Chloe graduated from the Veterinary Office and Animal Care program at Douglas College and is working toward becoming a veterinary technician. Her passion for animal health started with her corgi and has grown through her studies and experience. As a pet owner herself, Chloe takes extra time and patience to help pets have a fear-free clinic visit.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors. She speaks both Mandarin and English and love connecting with people and their pets.

Helen

Veterinary Assistant

Helen is a veterinary assistant with a strong passion for animal care and is actively pursuing a career as a Registered Veterinary Technician. She graduated from the University of Toronto with majors in Biology and Environmental Science. At home, she cares for four cats and a dog, which inspire her dedication to supporting the health and well-being of animals. Fluent in both Mandarin and English, she enjoys connecting with a diverse range of owner. In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors with her dog, Meli, or relaxing at home cuddling with her cats.

Bonnabelle

Veterinary Assistant

Bonnabelle is a graduate of Douglas College’s Veterinary Assistant program. She has a strong passion for animal husbandry and care, supported by her volunteer experience working with rescue rabbits at the Vancouver Bunny Café. She shares her home with two cats and a diverse menagerie of exotic pets.
